Particularly, many Korean residents consider 'access to healthcare' as a criterion for choosing where to live, and from that perspective, Albuquerque scores quite well. Today, I've organized information focusing on the three most important hospitals in Albuquerque. It's a lighthearted blog, but we should take our health seriously.

The first is UNM Hospital (University of New Mexico Hospital). It is an educational hospital affiliated with the University of New Mexico School of Medicine, located on Lomas Blvd NE in Albuquerque. It operates the only Level I trauma center in New Mexico, excelling in the treatment of severe trauma patients across the state.

Additionally, the UNM Comprehensive Cancer Center is designated as a cancer center by the NCI (National Cancer Institute), providing high accessibility to clinical trials and advanced treatments. The total number of beds is over 600, and as a teaching hospital, it actively trains residents and fellows. It also plays a crucial role in ensuring healthcare access for low-income populations in New Mexico.

The second is Presbyterian Hospital. It is the flagship hospital of Presbyterian Healthcare Services, operating several campuses within Albuquerque. The main campus is located on Copper Ave NE, with around 450 beds. The heart center, women's health center, and neuroscience center are particularly strong points, making it the largest nonprofit healthcare system in New Mexico. It is one of the most utilized hospitals by the general public in Albuquerque, with high satisfaction regarding access to the emergency room and outpatient services. Presbyterian has a network of dozens of clinics across New Mexico, allowing residents in the outskirts of Albuquerque to receive care relatively close to home.

The third is Lovelace Medical Center. Part of the Lovelace Health System, it operates several facilities in downtown Albuquerque, with the Women's Hospital and Heart Hospital being separately managed. Lovelace Women's Hospital specializes in pregnancy and childbirth services, making it particularly popular among the Hispanic community in Albuquerque, which has a high birth rate.
