The gap between these luxury areas and more typical neighborhoods cannot be explained by price alone. Both Broadmoor and Flying Horse come with additional costs such as community security, management organizations, and clubhouse memberships, which tend to widen the actual cost of living gap beyond just housing prices.

While the Korean population in Colorado Springs is not as large as in the Denver area, it is observed that families, particularly those involved in military-related jobs or IT professions, are gradually settling here. Among them, those with means tend to prefer areas like Flying Horse, which offer new construction and well-equipped community facilities.

If you are considering relocating from another state, it is advisable to factor in the higher housing maintenance costs associated with the area's elevation, particularly for heating and roof maintenance. Rather than deciding based solely on the purchase price, it is recommended to compare total costs, including annual maintenance expenses.
