Every time I turn on my smartphone, I am inundated with endless content, and while we consume something every day, what truly sticks with us is rare.
AI thinks for us, algorithms predict our interests, and automated systems create things without needing our hands.
Information is overflowing, content is excessive, and even writing is no longer a unique human domain.
In the midst of this, I suddenly ask myself.
"In a world where everything is created and said, what meaning do life experiences hold?"
Over the past 30 years in business, I have signed countless contracts and shaken hands with many people.
I have failed due to meeting the wrong people, and in hindsight, I have had a few miraculous opportunities that came at just the right time.
Looking back, most of these events occurred in relationships that cannot be explained in just a few words.
Business is ultimately about people.
No matter how precise the data or perfect the logic, in reality, a small word can derail negotiations, and unexpected coincidences can open doors to life-changing opportunities.
Things like an unexpected phone call, a chance encounter at the airport, or the warmth of handing someone a cup of coffee during a meeting.
That is a world that AI cannot calculate.
The business field does not operate solely on efficiency and numbers.
Emotions like human recognition, dedication, and sacrifice often play a small but decisive role.
I have experienced this too. Thanks to someone reading my sincerity and giving me just one chance, a project that was on the verge of failure was saved, and conversely, a single act of insincerity has shattered years of built trust in an instant.
These things do not appear in any content. Only those who have lived can understand this.
AI may claim to understand in words, but there is an essence that only those who have truly cried can convey.
Experiences of enduring through despair while thinking 'this too shall pass.'
The tremor in the voice when I looked into my employees' eyes during a bankruptcy crisis and said, "We can do this."
This may be imitated by complex algorithms or deep learning models, but the true meaning and weight still cannot be matched.
Of course, there are warnings that with the arrival of strong AI, these boundaries may blur.
It is said that AI may evolve to a level where it does not just 'understand' emotions but actually 'feels' them.
Nevertheless, I still believe in my experiences.
The truth that can only be spoken by those who have gone through pain, that depth is still something only humans can convey.
We are currently in an era of content overflow.
However, within it, the true stories of real people and the traces of real lives shine even brighter.
The experiences I have lived through, the hurdles I have overcome, can serve as the strongest compass for someone living in the future, rather than just memories of the past.
And I believe that these living experiences will continue to be a value that AI cannot easily replace.
