Annual Festivals and Major Events in Phoenix - Phoenix - 1

As someone who has lived in Phoenix for a long time, I can say that this city really knows how to celebrate its festivals.

Especially between winter and spring, events are concentrated during this time, which makes sense given the nice weather.

I've compiled a list of the major annual events that take place around Phoenix and Scottsdale.

The most famous is the WM Phoenix Open (Waste Management Phoenix Open).

Held annually from late January to early February at TPC Scottsdale, this PGA Tour event attracts one of the largest galleries in the world of golf. It's one of the biggest sports events in Phoenix, where even those who don't know much about golf come to enjoy the festive atmosphere. The party area at the 16th hole is particularly well-known.

The NASCAR race at Phoenix Raceway (ISM Raceway) is also an annual event.

It takes place twice a year in spring and fall, drawing tens of thousands of attendees. The Shadow Mountain Sportsman Club Rodeo and the Scottsdale Arabian Horse Show are unique cultural events that showcase Western cowboy culture.

In spring, the Cactus League spring training occurs from February to March. This is the time when MLB teams prepare for the season at various stadiums in the Phoenix metro area, providing baseball fans with a great opportunity to see their favorite players up close. The Garden Festival at the Desert Botanical Garden and the Phoenix Pride Parade are also events that local residents enjoy participating in.
