Field Station: Dinosaurs in Leonia is a theme park where children can see and experience dinosaurs.

I visited with my nephew on a weekend morning, and right from the entrance, a giant Tyrannosaurus roared to greet us, making my nephew's eyes widen in amazement.

This place is not just an exhibition; it's a park where you can experience 'living, moving dinosaurs.'

Over 30 life-sized dinosaur robots are placed throughout the forest, so as you walk along the paths, a Triceratops might suddenly poke its head out from behind the trees, or a Brachiosaurus might stretch its neck high above.

Each dinosaur has different movements and sounds, making you feel like you've stepped into the movie 'Jurassic Park.' Especially in the Tyrannosaurus area, the grand sounds and slight vibrations in the ground can surprise even adults.

Staff members explain the characteristics of each dinosaur in their respective areas, and they also allow kids to touch real fossil replicas, which the children seemed to enjoy the most. Another impressive feature was the 'Dino Dig' corner.

This is an experience where you can dig for dinosaur bones hidden in the sand, and my nephew looked so cute concentrating with a shovel like a real archaeologist.

Once he dug it all out, the staff would say, "Congratulations, you found a Stegosaurus rib!" and praise him, making him look like he had the world in his hands. There are also dinosaur-related performances held at regular intervals, where actors dressed as dinosaur researchers engage with the kids through songs and dances.

The content is educational yet humorous, so adults didn't feel bored either. Around lunchtime, we bought hot dogs and ice cream from a simple snack booth near the central plaza and sat on a bench to eat, while small dinosaurs moved around, making it visually enjoyable even during our break. Above all, the charm of this place is its natural setting.

The park is located in the woods of Leonia, so as you walk along the trails, the sounds of birds, the wind, and dinosaur roars blend together to create a unique atmosphere. Even though it's not far from the city, it feels like you're in a completely different world.

On a nice day, it's perfect for families to visit for a picnic. There are plenty of benches and shade, and it's easy to navigate with strollers, making it especially recommended for families with young children.

The admission fee is affordable for both adults and children, and the parking lot is spacious and convenient to use.

In the late afternoon, the sunlight shines through the trees, casting the silhouettes of the dinosaurs like a painting, making it great for taking photos.

There are many photo spots worth posting on social media, with families lining up to take pictures. The park is well-decorated enough that you won't get bored even after wandering around all day, and there are mini quiz boards scattered throughout, allowing kids to learn while having fun.

Field Station: Dinosaurs is not just an exhibition space; it is a living educational environment that inspires children's imaginations and a special place that allows adults to briefly return to their childhood.
