This park, located about 220 miles (354 km) southeast of Seattle, is ideal for stargazing due to low light pollution. The observatory offers various astronomy programs, and on clear days, visitors can observe the Milky Way and various celestial bodies.
MountRainier National Park)
Ashford, WA
This national park, located about 85 miles (137 km) southeast of Seattle, is a great place for stargazing due to its high elevation and clear skies. Especially in the summer, the stars in the night sky can be observed clearly.
OlympicNational Park)
Port Angeles, WA
This park, located about 100 miles (161 km) west of Seattle, offers a variety of terrains and dark skies, making it suitable for stargazing. The Hurricane Ridge area is particularly recommended.
Snoqualmie Falls)
Snoqualmie, WA
Located about 30 miles (48 km) east of Seattle, the area around this waterfall is good for observing stars away from the city's light pollution. However, please be cautious about safety when visiting.
