When I watch people living in America, it really seems like they are living hard.
They wake up at 5 AM to exercise, eat, and by 6 AM when the news comes on, there are so many cars on the freeway heading somewhere.
No one told them to, but it's as if someone is watching them, and they are living busily.
What could be so urgent?
In the end, life is about leaving everything behind, so what does all that struggle mean?
That doesn't mean I'm saying to live life carelessly. I'm also trying to live diligently.
However, I think it's necessary to ask myself why I am living this way.
Is this for me, or is it just because everyone else is doing it?
Taking a day to stop and think is also okay.
Am I happy right now?
Does this effort keep me alive, or is it making my life harder?
Isn't it more important how much I lived in my own way than competing to live harder?
People drinking coffee with tired faces, the countless efforts hidden behind the success images posted on Instagram or Facebook...
Sometimes when I see those things, I suddenly think this.
"In the end, life is about leaving everything behind..."
Sometimes, a day of doing nothing can be the most meaningful day.
In the end, life might not be a marathon... but a picnic.
If you only keep running,
you might miss a lot of scenery...
