When I enter the kitchen to brew coffee in the morning, the first thing that catches my eye is the small pots placed by the window.
I started with just a few herbs like mint, but now small flowers have also found their place.
The kitchen, which was originally a practical space for cooking and washing dishes, has completely changed its atmosphere since the pots arrived.
Whenever I glance at the vibrant green leaves while cooking, it really lifts my spirits.
Picking mint leaves and floating them in lemon water creates a refreshing drink on the spot, and adding rosemary to meat dishes enhances the aroma significantly.
The fun of using what I've grown right next to me is something you won't know until you try it yourself.
Above all, the kitchen seems to have gained vitality, and it feels like the air in the house has changed as well.
The green leaves catching the morning sunlight sparkle, and the small flowers change colors with the seasons, bringing energy.
Every time my family enters the kitchen, they comment, "This place is really pretty."
While doing the dishes and looking out the window, the moment I gently touch one of the pots becomes a small break for me.
In fact, taking care of plants doesn't require much effort.
Just watering them once or twice a week and ensuring they get enough sunlight allows them to thrive on their own.
If the leaves look a bit wilted, moving them closer to the window or refreshing the soil brings them back to life.
In that process, I think, 'Ah, life can change with just a little attention.'
Bringing pots into the kitchen started as a simple idea for decor, but it has now become a small happiness that enriches my day.
Whether I'm cooking, having tea, or just passing through the kitchen, my mood improves significantly.
So, I plan to add a new plant each season from now on.
Watching the kitchen transform into a small garden is truly a special joy.
