If you live in San Antonio, you have probably been to Sam's Club at least once.

However, the operating hours of Sam's Club have now changed.

Starting from October 12, 2025, all Sam's Clubs in the San Antonio area will open earlier and close later.

In the past, they only opened at 10 AM on Sundays and closed at 6 PM, making it tight for those who wanted to go shopping after church. But this time, they have finally extended the hours based on member feedback.

Now, they are open every day from 8 AM to 8 PM. Plus members can enter from 8 AM (not that there's much need to go that early, haha), while regular members can enter from 9 AM.

The café will be open from 10 AM to 8 PM, and the gas station will be open from 6 AM to 10 PM. So now you can fill up before work and grab a coffee on your way home.

This change is not just about the hours; it significantly alters daily routines.

Previously, weekends were crowded with people rushing from the parking lot to the cart lines, but now the spread of hours allows for a much more relaxed shopping experience.

This is great for early risers. Especially for those who frequently use curbside pickup, this change will be very welcome.

Sam's Club headquarters explained that this decision is a "measure reflecting the inconveniences that members actually felt."

There were many requests to make Sunday shopping hours more flexible. In fact, it is quite rare for customer feedback to be heard and immediately acted upon like this.

San Antonio has many families shopping on weekends, and the gas station usage is active, so this change will be felt significantly.

In the past, if you were doing something on Sunday, you would often find yourself rushing to Sam's Club after 5 PM, but now that they close at 8 PM, it's nice.

As Sam's Club listens to its members and evolves, I look forward to seeing what other changes may come in the future.
