Just a little outside the city center of Tampa, a completely different landscape unfolds, which is the charm of Florida.

The first place that comes to mind is Clearwater Beach. It takes about 40 minutes by car from Tampa, and the white sand and emerald sea are truly picturesque. This beach is one of the most renowned in the United States and consistently ranks among the 'most beautiful beaches' every year. At sunset, you can enjoy street performances and the sunset at Pier 60, and the atmosphere at that moment when the sun slowly dips into the sea is genuinely moving. Clearwater is great for family trips, and enjoying a plate of fresh seafood at a beach restaurant washes away the fatigue of the day.

Heading a bit further north, you will find the charming town of Dunedin. This place has traces of Scottish immigrants, giving it a distinctly European feel. The streets are small, but there are lovely cafes and craft breweries scattered throughout, and on weekends, a flea market opens, providing plenty of sights to see. Crossing the Dunedin Causeway leads you to Honeymoon Island State Park. As the name suggests, it has a romantic beach atmosphere, with a long and quiet sandy shore perfect for couples to take a stroll.

Going south from Tampa, you will find St. Petersburg. Locals shorten it to 'St. Pete,' and this place is famous as a city of arts. The Dali Museum is one of the museums with the largest collections of works by the Spanish surrealist painter Salvador Dali. The exterior is uniquely designed with glass structures, making the building itself a work of art. After visiting the museum, if you walk over to the nearby St. Pete Pier, you will encounter a modern park and observation deck that seems to float over the sea. The view of Tampa Bay from there is truly fantastic.

If you love nature, Hillsborough River State Park to the north of Tampa is also worth recommending. The forest trails are well-maintained, making it great for trekking or biking. There are small waterfalls on the river flowing between the trees, and you can see alligators or turtles up close. One of the great advantages of Tampa is that you can feel nature so close without leaving the city.

If you are visiting with children, Busch Gardens Tampa Bay is a must. It combines a large amusement park with a zoo, allowing you to enjoy the thrill of roller coasters and a safari experience all at once. You can see animals like lions, cheetahs, and giraffes up close, making it exciting for adults as well. In the summer, Adventure Island water park is also popular. Thanks to the water slides and artificial wave pool, you can forget the heat all day long.

And in downtown Tampa, the Riverwalk is definitely worth a visit. It is a walking path along the Hillsborough River, where you can enjoy the riverside leisure during the day, and at night, the lights create a romantic atmosphere. There are restaurants, cafes, and art galleries along the way, so you won't get bored while walking. Especially near the amphitheater, outdoor performances and festivals are often held.

The charm of traveling around Tampa lies in its diversity. Beaches, art, nature, and urban fun are all packed into one place. You can swim in Clearwater in the morning, visit the Dali Museum in the afternoon, and finish the day with a glass of wine at Riverwalk.

It's a place where you can feel both the unique leisure and vibrancy of Florida, and that is exactly the area around Tampa.
