If you're visiting St. Louis or planning a large conference, wedding, or group event, you often choose hotels based on the number of rooms and the size of the facilities.
St. Louis has a concentration of large hotels around downtown, and I will introduce two that stand out in terms of room size and facilities.
The first is the Hyatt Regency St. Louis at The Arch.
This hotel is located right near the Gateway Arch and has a total of 910 rooms, making it one of the largest hotels in St. Louis.
It is situated in a historic building that was remodeled from Union Station, and the hotel features various restaurants, a swimming pool, a fitness center, and spa facilities.
The conference and event space is also very spacious, frequently hosting large corporate events and wedding receptions.
It connects to the Union Station shopping mall, aquarium, and Ferris wheel, making it popular with family travelers.
Room rates vary depending on the season and event schedule, but generally range from $150 to $300 per night on weekdays.

The second is the Renaissance St. Louis Airport Hotel, located right near Lambert-St. Louis International Airport. It has about 395 rooms and offers airport shuttle services, making it popular among business travelers and those waiting for connecting flights. This hotel is part of the Marriott chain, allowing for Marriott Bonvoy membership point accumulation. It is equipped with amenities such as a restaurant, bar, fitness center, and business center, and also has conference rooms, making it frequently used for medium-sized corporate events. Due to its location, most guests tend to use personal vehicles or rental cars rather than public transportation.
To summarize the main differences between the two hotels, the Hyatt Regency is suitable for travelers looking for downtown sightseeing and a historic building atmosphere, while the Renaissance Airport Hotel is better suited for business travelers who prioritize airport access and convenience. Both hotels have large banquet halls and meeting rooms that can accommodate events with over 100 attendees. When booking, it is wise to compare prices on the official website, hotel membership apps, or third-party booking sites to find the best rates. Rates tend to be significantly lower during weekdays and periods without major convention schedules.
In addition to these two, St. Louis also has large hotels like Hilton St. Louis Downtown and DoubleTree by Hilton St. Louis at the Gateway Arch, which have 400-500 rooms concentrated in downtown. If you plan to visit St. Louis, I recommend comparing locations and facilities based on your accommodation purpose (tourism, business, event attendance, etc.).
For specific Korean events or church group trips, it may be possible to negotiate group discounts, so it's a good idea to contact the hotel sales team in advance.
