Denali National Park, located north of Anchorage, Alaska, always presents overwhelming scenery.
The Denali I visited last summer showed a different face compared to winter.
Under the early summer sunshine, the snow-capped mountains stood tall over the green meadows.
As seen in the photo, each ridge is colored differently.
Gray rocks, red soil, green grass interspersed, and the snow piled on the peaks.
The contrast of these colors is so vivid that it looks like a carefully painted picture.
The gently flowing river, fed by melting snow from the mountains, curves through the meadows.
While winter covers everything in snow, Denali National Park is filled with vibrant colors and life in summer.
Even while taking photos, the grass blades on the meadow swayed like waves with every gust of wind, and I could see a herd of caribou walking slowly in the distance.
This scene unfolds right before your eyes, something unimaginable in the city.
At that moment, seeing this landscape, all my fatigue and worries disappeared.
The massive mountain range stands silently, yet it conveys an immense message.
It feels like I returned with the mountain whispering, "Go with the flow; just living is enough."

The trails around the lakes in Alaska truly showcase the essence of hiking in Alaska.
Even near Anchorage, there are many small lakes in the Eagle River Valley or tundra region, so you can find lake trails just a one or two-hour drive away.
In June and July, the frozen lakes melt into sparkling blue waters, reflecting the snow-capped mountains above, and walking along the paths feels like entering another world.
On the way to the lake through the forest path, wildflowers bloom abundantly, and seeing moose or bear tracks on the trail makes you realize this is truly a wild land.
The charm of lake hiking lies in the 'grandeur in tranquility.'
Without the sound of waves or cars, only the sounds of birds and leaves rustling in the wind can be heard, and when you shift your gaze, the snow-covered mountain range surrounds the lake.
Sitting by the lakeside for a moment, you might unexpectedly see an eagle flying over the surface or a caribou coming to drink water. These moments cannot be captured by a camera; they are landscapes that must be seen and felt in person.
Especially places like Portage Lake, close to Anchorage, are glacial lakes with water that is close to turquoise, and the more you walk along the trail, the more you can feel the cold breath of the glacier.
Another attraction, Eklutna Lake, is popular not only for hiking but also for kayaking, showcasing a magnificent view where the mountains, lake, and sky connect as one.
Standing here, you realize how small humans are.
Hiking in Alaska's lakes is not just a time for exercise; it feels like a process of letting go of the weight of life and finding balance again in front of nature.
With every step, your heart becomes lighter, and the mountains surrounding the lake silently teach us patience and humility.
That's why many people walk this path, making new resolutions and gaining strength to return to their daily lives.
