Sometimes, if a friend doesn't have an Uber account, needs something delivered to them, or can't get a ride from the airport or anywhere else, you might wonder how to let a friend ride using my account. Just follow the steps below.

Open the Uber app and change the pickup location

• Open the app and tap the search bar that says "Where to?".

• The default pickup location is set to my current location, so change it to where your friend will be getting in.

  • For example: If your friend is at Seoul Station, enter "Seoul Station".

Enter my address as the destination

• Enter my home address or the desired location as the destination.

Select vehicle option and request

• Choose the type of vehicle, such as UberX or Uber Black, then tap the "Request" button.

• The fare will be charged to my account.

Additional Tips

• Register friend's contact: If you enter your friend's phone number before pickup, the driver can contact your friend directly.

• Share feature: If you send your friend a live location link, they can track the vehicle's location in real-time.

• Message to the driver: You can send a message in the app like "My friend is coming. Please contact me at this number".

If needed, you can also inform the Uber driver in advance about the car's interior temperature, or you can set it up to have small talk with the guest or just want a quiet ride.
