These days, I find myself feeling hungry around 11 PM, just when I think it's time to sleep, perhaps due to stress.

After a long day of work, I eat dinner in a rush, and when I lie down in bed...

That's when the voice in my head says, "Hey, let's eat something~" and I end up staring blankly in front of the fridge.

The problem is, if I eat anything at that time, I feel bloated the next day, my body swells, and if it gets bad, I can't digest it and feel tired until morning.

So lately, I've been eating oats. The Quaker brand is famous in the U.S.

Oats surprisingly curb hunger.

Oats are not just a grain that fills you up. Especially the soluble fiber called 'beta-glucan' is truly amazing.

It slows down digestion, so after eating, you feel full for a long time, and blood sugar rises slowly, making it less burdensome to eat at night.

In simple terms, it's a good grain that suppresses late-night cravings.

Moreover, this beta-glucan is also good for lowering cholesterol and helps with heart health, which is why it is treated as a superfood, not just a 'filling grain.'

Oats are nutty and light, so you won't get tired of them, and surprisingly, they contain quite a bit of protein, as well as magnesium, iron, zinc, and B vitamins.

I had only heard that they are really good for you, but I didn't know they were this nutritious.

So how should you eat them for the best taste and effect?

I make a little oatmeal porridge before bed.

Boil oats and water in a 1:3 ratio, then add sliced banana, and that's it. Maximum fullness. Sleep comes easily.

And I eat the leftovers in the morning, and it really changes my life.

First of all, I sleep well, feel light the next day, and even my weight is gradually decreasing.

There are a few things to be careful about: oats have very little gluten, but they can sometimes be mixed with flour during processing, so it's good to check for a 'gluten-free' label.

Also, if you eat a lot at once, it can cause gas and bloating, so start with a small amount at first.

Oats are cheap, good for your health, and fill you up, making them a smart grain.

Especially for those who crave ramen, snacks, chicken, or pizza before bed, there is no better choice than this.

Feeling hungry tonight?

Try a bowl of oats.
