Today, I will talk about Long Beach City Hall.

At first, I thought, 'What's so interesting about a city hall?' But it turns out that Long Beach City Hall is not just an administrative building; it has quite an intriguing story.

Long Beach City Hall is located at 333 W Ocean Blvd. It is situated near the waterfront in downtown Long Beach, surrounded by courthouses, federal buildings, and a convention center, making it part of the administrative hub. The current city hall is a modern building completed in 2003, standing 14 stories tall. It features a minimalist exterior made of glass and metal. The current mayor is Rex Richardson, who took office in January 2023. A native of Long Beach, he became mayor after serving as a city council member, winning the election with about 56% of the vote. He holds historical significance as Long Beach's first Black mayor.

This made me think, 'Indeed, Long Beach values diversity.' I often feel this while living in the area, haha.

That's quite a large number, right?
